Your friends at neighborhood McDonald’s restaurants know you’d like to provide your students with more hands-on experiences if only the budget allowed. That’s why we offer McDonald’s MAC Grants – up to $500 to help you Make Activities Count in your classroom!

The McDonald’s MAC Grants program has awarded millions of dollars to help middle school teachers (grades 5–8) implement interesting and educational projects in their classrooms.

Please note: This program is available only in these counties:

Maryland: Garrett and Hancock
​
Ohio: Belmont, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe and Noble
​
Pennsylvania: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Greene, Huntington, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland.

West Virginia: Barbour, Brooke, Gilmer, Harrison, Jefferson, Lewis, Marion, Marshal, Monongalia, Monroe, Ohio, Preston, Randolph, Taylor, Tucker, Upshur and Wetzel

Applications originating outside of the eligible counties will not be considered. Educators from other regions should contact your closest McDonald’s restaurant to learn about local program offerings.
